Thin, light, and fully charges iPhone 5

This battery pack is just slightly thicker than my iPhone 5, narrower in width, and shorter in height. It is the smallest battery pack I could find that fully charges my iPhone 5 from 0 to 100%, as long as I don't actively use my iPhone while it is charging. I can send a few messages and check some e-mail, but if I use it continuously while it charges it won't quite reach 100%. Regardless, I am very happy, and it meets my expectations of a battery pack that can fully charge my iPhone when I don't want to be tied to a power outlet.Before I bought it, I was a little concerned about this type of battery pack, as I had never had a separate battery, but only battery sleeves before, such as ones made by PhoneSuit (great!) and Mophie (blah). My concern was the potential added bulk and inconvenience of a second unattached device. However, the battery pack is small enough that I can carry it in my jeans pocket while charging my iPhone without significant bulkiness. The only inconvenience is the lightning cable, which is too long for this type of charging. I've wrapped mine in a coil with about a 3-inch diameter, but ideally I'd like to find a short lightning cable to use with the battery pack; something around 2 or 3 inches long, for easier pocketability while connected or just waiting to be used.When I received it, I was a bit surprised at first that it did not have a power off switch, but only a button to indicate the amount of charge. However, I found out that this button functions as both the power indicator and power switch. The battery pack turns off after some time (not sure how long) if not in use to preserve power. To turn it on, just press the button; it will indicate the amount of charge in blue LEDs. By the way, it takes about 3-4 hours to charge when I use an Apple iPhone USB charger, but you can charge it from any USB port. It took closer to 5 hours when I used my PC at work, so it seems that the Apple charger likely outputs more power resulting in a faster charge.As far as appearance, its matte black front and back gives it a premium feel and makes it less prone to slipping. The chrome frame may look a bit dated, but goes well to contrast the front and back. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others who are looking for a non-sleeve type battery pack for their iPhone.

This is a very nice, compact battery with one button and one light bar. It does a nice job of charging the iPhone 5. I wish there was a short, 6 inch cord with it so it could charge my phone. As it is, I use the 4 foot cord and drag the extra wire around during the process.The size and finish of the battery make for a pleasant package. When will Lenmar make a battery CASE for the iPhone 5?

Easily Set Up Your BlackBerry Torch Extended Battery:

1) Remove your original F-S1 battery from your BlackBerry Torch and insert into designated slot on battery updater
2) Insert extended smartphone battery into BlackBerry Torch and turn the power on.
3) When you see a battery symbol with an X over it, remove the extended battery from the BlackBerry Torch and insert into designated slot on battery updater.
4) When both batteries are properly placed, the battery updater will begin transferring data, as indicated by the LED light.
5) Once the LED light has automatically turned off, remove the extended battery from the battery updater and insert into the BlackBerry Torch

The first thing you should know that the back is extremely fragile and hard to get on because of it being double the size. I ordered 2 and broke one. The other thing that should be noted is that any idea that this battery will last longer than a regular battery is completely false. The MOST important thing that should be noted is that the battery is no in any way "plug and play". the battery has to be programmed with an adapter (that is included) using your old battery before you can use it. The most serious flaw is that you must re-program your battery every time thereafter if you have to reboot your phone or need to remove it for any reason.This is a VERY BIG problem if you are out somewhere and your phone restarts or the battery falls out etc and you don't have the adapter to "re-program" your battery (your phone will be rendered completely useless). In my opinion if you want something similar just strap a brick to the back side of your phone and use a regular battery, you will get better results.
