I got the powerbank EVO, 5000ah for a back up for my kindle fire because it stated that would give me a backup of 4-6 hrs and it has not performed...it only gives me no more that 1 hr of backup. Perhaps the wrong item was recommended for my kindly Fire, which I use constantly. This item does not work for me.

Finally a reasonable extended battery that works great in a PHENOMENALLY designed form factor!!

Okay, let me start this by saying that I've been searching for a suitable external/backup battery for my new Android smartphone (the Samsung Epic 4G on Sprint) ever since getting the phone a month or two ago. Its a great phone, and the recent firmware upgrade really helped with battery life, but like with most smartphones, the battery life still leaves something to be desired. The phone takes a micro USB input, which complicated things from a form factor/connectorization perspective.This little primo battery cube ROCKS. That's the only way to describe it. The factory picture doesn't nearly do it justice!! The thing actually has *two* well-thought-out DC outputs - one micro USB *and* one mini USB, nicely folded up as part of the enclosure .. and here's the best part, they are on two autonomous SWIVEL mounts!! So it is *perfect* when attaching to my phone, as I can tilt the batter back from me so I can even talk on it easily, with just one hand.. it really is amazing how well this mechanism was thought out in such a tiny package. I'll try to snap a picture or two a little later and attach it to the item so that you can 'see' what I mean. When attaching to my Android phone, the phone automatically recognizes it and asks me how I want to use it - I select USB charging and off it goes. Awesome!!!Now, it gets even better: on the input side, when charging, it charges directly from a standard USB port, so you can charge it with your existing phone charger, or a USB computer port, or any other USB-related charging mechanism if you'd like .. and with EITHER micro USB or mini USB! Awesome, once again!! Oh, and it comes with a micro USB to standard USB cable as well, to throw in a travel/laptop bag. They have thought of everything, and I am not kidding!!I'm a technical guy by nature, and I actually pondered creating my own homegrown extended battery since nothing out there was suitable. Now I don't have to. This thing is PERFECT. I can honestly say that I can't think of any way to make this product any better!!!If only all products were created with this much attention to detail!!

Great little battery pack for your phone!

I've had this for months now and it really is great. Its small and light and you hardly notice it when holding the phone. It charges separately and when you need a little extra power you just plug it in. I also like how the lights on the front show how much battery is left. We call it "the primo" and my wife and I both use it off and on to charge our phones. I should have gotten 2! I've used it on a Samsung Focus, HTC Surround, and a Blackberry.

does not charge my galaxy s3 well. only gives it about an hour of charge then dies out. in the description i read it says my phone should fully charge and it does not.

Bizzare piece of junk

Dont waste your time with this jury rigged contraption, absolutely worthless. It is a spring loaded clip and two very tiny conductors that you have to align with the positive and negative contacts on your battery. Unbelievable that anyone would even try to market something so bizzare.

Broke a few months after purchase

There are better chargers than this. This worked for a few months, but was very difficult to use. The spring finally broke on it and its useless now, so I bought a different type of charger to replace it. Interesting way to charge batteries, but very flimsy and hard to keep the battery from slipping off the charger prongs.

RND Batteries are the best, but this charger isn't

I love RND Batteries, they're the best non-OEM batteries I've found for my phone. However, these chargers are poorly designed. Because they tried to make them universal (to fit many battery types), you have to line up two flimsy contacts to touch just the right spot on your batteries. Lining them up is difficult, and the contacts are thin flimsy wires. I was so afraid they'd break that I returned the charger. BUY RND BATTERIES, avoid this charger.

unfortunately, this battery didn;t hold a charge any longer than the one I already had...I thought a new one would last longer..in spite of all the app killers I sue and always have wifi and gps turned off....just wish there were a battery that lasted more than a handful of hours.
