blackberry battery

great battery oem original blackberry battery. love having the spare when i am in a place i can't recharge! the phone does go thru battery power kinda quickly, so the spare is great to have!. i recomend everyone who are in places you can't recharge often carry one!!!! we camp alot, so the spare is essential.

I was cautious about ordering this OEM BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 Standard C-S2 Battery here as I had received a pair of C-S2 batteries from another vendor that had been dead on arrival, and refused to function with my genuine BlackBerry® Curve(tm) 3G. Mine is the real thing, but I really wondered about the two BlackBerry Original Li-Ion Battery packs that I ordered and received in March. They just didn't work... period. The newer one had been shipped from and sold by Ross Cellular here on Amazon. I check it out, charged it and all was fine... as it should be.But there's more, as you'll see.I could have also just gone to one of the cell phone provider's retail stores (take your pick) and get a brand new "BlackBerry Secure Standard Battery" for their regular price of $44.99, and I would have gotten the exact same BlackBerry 1000mAh C-S2 battery that we find here. But as we find with so many cell phone plans, we're offered an upgrade or replacement smartphone either for free or for a substantially reduced price, so I was not inclined to pay that much for a phone that would probably be replaced in a few months.To make a long and convoluted story short, a friend who I shall refer to as Cell Phone Geek suggested that I take my old original Blackberry Curve and use a higher output charger that I have, the AmazonBasics Wall Charger with USB Outlet (which has 2.1 Amp Output), plug in the appropriate USB to mini-USB cable and charge those older dead-on-arrival batteries overnight. So I did...And it worked.If you're lucky enough to have an older similar BlackBerry laying around as I do, or have access to one, this simple little trick may put you in business. You could always return it and ask for your money back or a replacement, but it was easier for me to try "jolting" each one, as the Cell Phone Geek explained to me. Don't as me how or why it worked, as I'm no cell phone or electronics engineer, but it did. Now I have all the BlackBerry C-S2 batteries that I need.In any case, my purchase of the battery sold and shipped from Ross Cellular here on Amazon was a good one... no complaints at all.

Get it from the company itself! It's completely dead even when I try to charge it. I know I ordered the right one.
