Awesome extra capacity battery!

I would have given it the 5th star but it was a bit too pricey in my opinion. Forty dollars for it seemed too high; however, I am very happy with the battery even so. I use Audible on my smartphone a lot as well as listening to music at work sometimes. I would often drain my battery very quickly but this battery has extended it by a huge margin.The battery life isn't doubled but it is at least 25 or 30% more I think. The best part is that its not any thicker than the OEM battery so you don't need to modify your smartphone. I put it in my Casio Commando C771 and I really appreciate it being the same size because this smartphone is watertight and build rock solid, so changing the cover, etc. would have ruined the military spec this phone has for durability.Awesome battery. I highly recommend it.

Don't waste your money

I honestly thought this battery would be the solution I was looking for. It was meant as a replacement for the OEM battery which is getting worse. I've had the phone about 18 months, and felt it was time to get a replacement, or secondary backup. I thought the price would be justified with extended battery life. This battery dies faster then the stock battery 18 months later. It is not a exact drop in fit either, some skill is required to get the cover to fit back on, and I'm not sure the water resistant seal is intact after I do. After 6 or seven full cycles, I get 3 days less power with this battery, despite the label which assures me it will last longer. Do Not waste your money buying this battery. The retailer was fine to deal with with prompt shipping. But the battery will do nothing but disappoint whomever is unfortunate to buy it after reading this review. Stay with a new OEM battery and contend with that instead.

If you are looking at this product then, like me, your casio G'zone commando rarely makes it a day without having to recharge. This battery does extend the life of the phone bu5t it won't solve the problem of having to recharge. Basically instead of having to recharge at 1:00 pm the phone will probably make it until 3:00pm. The battery itself is top quality and functions well but until Casio releases a firmware update that reduces battery consumption or comes up with a huge extended life battery and the associated larger battery cover to accommodate it then the problem will continue.
