Handy Gadget. A must have for a traveler when no empty plug sockets are near by or on a plane for 20+ hours!

Bought one of these at the airport the other day before a planned trip to Sydney. I knew I'd be using my iPhone a lot for navigation and calls. Although I didn't know it would be already charged I found I had 3 bars out of the four after taking this out of the box. I put the "loss of one star" down to time spent on the shelf at Adelaide airport.I first used this in a bar at Sydney whilst awaiting a mate to appear. (I didn't want to leave my phone plugged in to a socket in the bar and gain undue attention - and appear cheeky using a bar's electricity). It's small handy and charged my iPhone 4s without difficulties or problem whilst in my back pack. To turn on you need to hold down the on button for 3 seconds and it turns off automatically when the iPhone is disconnected. The torch facility works fine but you need to double press the power on button twice to switch on and off - which I found out whilst reading the instructions.I'm not sure how long it will take to charge my iPad or how long the device itself will take to charge. I plan to check this out in the next few days before my next trip.Whilst I love my iPhone the poor battery life is a bit of a downer. This remedies this problem without having to use a Power Jacket or use power plugs you might find if your lucky. Happy travelling.
