Yet another charger not on the new standard

So, I'm well aware that hardly anyone supports the USB charging standard where the data pins are either tied straight or with a resistor on "dumb" devices with no data capability, but I thought I'd give this one a whirl after being moderately satisfied with Proporta's 3400mAH version (which I also eventually ended up soldering the data pins, despite reviews that told me it would work with my phone).Sure enough, this one wouldn't charge my N900 out of the box. Works fine with my wife's Samsung (Galaxy III? can't remember), but won't charge the Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus on either port, even after cracking it open (which was *much* harder than the 5000mAH version) and soldering the data pins together on both ports.Decent enough capacity and solid construction, though (this sucker took me 45 minutes to crack, solder the data pins and put back together!).
