Does not work for Samsung Galaxy tablet

I purchased this item as a last minute solution for a long flight for a vacation trip. I had the Anker battery charger in my cart but waited too long to order it. This item promised to be in my mailbox in two days on Amazon Prime so I ordered it in spite of the lack of any reviews.It arrived on time and I charged it overnight, then took it on the trip. It did work fine for charging my Samsung android phone, and it charged my wife's Ipad OK. It would not work with my 7" Samsung Galaxy tablet.Instructions for this unit were poorly written and included such novel comments as "get rid of kids" in the instructions. It is evidently a straight from China import and was packaged in some weird paper wrapper.To it's credit, it seemed to work fine for charging android and Ipad. I can't tell you how many times it will charge your phone or whatnot, but it did seem to charge my Android phone quickly and fully. I plan to return this item and purchase the Anker Astro, as my Galaxy tab is the primary reason I purchased the charger and it does not work with it.Hope this will help you make a decision. I think it'd be fine for Ipad and most Android applications- but not Galaxy tablets.
