As of 7/22/2012, there are 7 reviews for this "Metallic Black" version and 3 reviews for the "Metallic Charcoal" version. All 10 reviewers rated this product 5 stars. Each of them happened to have written just 1 Amazon review ever (just click on 'See all my reviews' next to the reviewer's name). All 10 reviews were written within the span of 5 days between 7/17 and 7/21 with very similar writing style. I am convinced that all 10 reviews were written by 1 or 2 persons associated with QCell for the sole purpose of jacking up the rating.Whether you agree with me on my assessment of the "fakeness" of the 10 reviews or not, I would also like to point out that an ac adapter is not included in the package. Most legitimate reviews of similar products would mention the time needed to charge a large battery pack like this. All 10 reviews curiously omitted this very important aspect. Just one reviewer casually mentioned that "Will suggest getting an ac adaptor to plug directly into the wall, like the iPhone adaptor". If you don't have a decent AC to USB adapter (2A preferred, 500mA will be way too slow), it will probably take forever to charge this 6000mAH battery through your computer's USB port. Also, the fact that you have to manually switch from 'getting charged' to 'charging' is not good. If the circuit is not smart enough to do that automatically, it may also not be smart enough to stop charging when your phone is fully charged. This may result in your phone battery or this 6000mAH battery getting hot. Either way is not good.

I am upset because people reviewed this item and said bad things I am so happy with what I got and I couldn't wait to try it out. I don't have problems with anything and I am 100% sold by this item . It is a must buy and I am proud of seller keep the good work up I will love to buy again :-) .

I recently received this item for when i'll be in the middle of nowhere for company projects. Unfortunately I don't speak Chinese so the directions didn't help much. I then proceeded to email the company in which I got a speedy response to all my questions.I found out how much amps The device can handle when being charged, which is 1Amp input AC to USB adapter charge max. Under those conditions it will take around 7 hours and twelve minutes to get a complete charge with a 20% efficiency loss variable.The formula goes as follows (Yes I googled this)CB = Capacity of External Battery (the item i'm reviewing)WC = Wall charger (remember 1A max, and its a receptacle plug in to usb connector)EFL = Efficiency Loss (this is for all batteries some are better than others) so it will be a 1.2 for nowCharge Time = ((CB/WC)*EFL) ((6000/1000)*1.2) = 7.2 HrsThe Device came with a 75% charge already so i'll wait until i drain it to charge it back up. In addition, the lights will come back on when you are charging it just as they do when you flip the switch to charge devices with it.Now that we got that all squared away, their customer service was amazingly fast and i commend them for that. Now lets just see how well this thing lasts when i start to use it.Also i'm a real person not some paid dude bumping up the votes here, as was stated by another person.I hope this review helped a lot of confused people on how to properly charge this beast.
