Best Epic 4G touch extended battery.

I have tried the other two brands avaiailable in amazon, and they are no where near the performance of this battery. I charged my phone on Sunday morning; it is tuesday afternoon and I still have some charge left (15%). THis battery is amazing. I will update this review after a few weeks of use/testing to make sure it continues to perform amazingly.

The good old days are back!

Likely you're looking at this page because you're thinking about purchasing an extended battery for your Epic 4G Touch. Well, what are you waiting for?I like you, came here, saw the price-tag (cheaper than the other extended batteries), and decided to wait a little while. I mean, the standard battery life on the phone isn't atrocious, I just have to remember to plug it in every night, and sometimes during the day if I'm using it heavily. One day on a whim I came back and clicked the "Buy it now" button, and I'm really glad I did.As many people have mentioned in forums for these types of batteries, I made sure to charge it fully with the phone off when I first got it, drain it down until the phone shut off (took 2 days), then charge it fully again with the phone off. Now between this extended battery and using Juice Defender, my phone lasts for 4 solid days (~88 hours) of light use (with Wifi off), or 3 days if I'm using it somewhat heavily. It's like I'm back in the early 2000's when my StarTac lasted days without needing to be charged! (Well, except this phone does so much more than just make phone calls of course).As for aesthetics, due to the larger size of the batter, it does give the phone a slight "pregnant" look, and it no longer lays flat when you put it down, but this is a minor inconvenience. Personally I find the phone actually fits better in my hand with the "bump" there (gives me something of substance to hold onto). My only minor complaint is that with the bump in the back, it is now a tight squeeze to fit my phone onto my cradle (but it still fits).Overall, I'd say it's a worthwhile investment for anyone who puts their phone into Airplane Mode just so the battery will make it through the rest of the day without hitting the charger, or puts off that important phone call until they're within range of an outlet (used to be me).

Got this to supplement the crappy battery life of my factory batty.Had no idea I would be so pleased!Can go a whole day and a half on a charge with normal daily use.this includes: constant texting throughout the day email syncs on 5 accounts Sirius/XM streaming for a MINIMUM of 6 hours per day random internet browsing a phone call or two
