Now I know, this cell is the ULTIMATE OEM which was come with my cell phone... I bought my cell phone online in the US, Bold 9900, and this one is "made in Japan", "Further processed in Mexico"Although they are the same battery JM-1, they are made in different country.

I work in the cell phone business for about 12 years, so you can trust I know my stuff.. 99.9% of the batteries in the aftermarket are low quality counterfeits, or used!, (specially BlackBerry ones, due to the high price of the OEMs, that gives more 'space' for the counterfeit-used market to make business).The point that should ring your bell is that Amazon being so competitive in pricing terms, they sell this battery at the real price (just compare how 'expensive' they sell it compared to the third party merchants), and you can be sure you are getting an OEM; Amazon won't take the rik of staining its name selling a counterfeit so this is the TRUE price of an OEM battery.So if you want to be sure you're getting the real thing, make sure you buy the one that is sold by Amazon, shipped by amazon of course.The five stars rating goes for Amazon more than for the battery itself, this is a poor capacity battery (in fact, is the first time all my family members need a spare battery); Being such a low capacity battery (and the 9900's have a serious 1.2Ghz processor), Lithium-ion instead of Lithium-Polymer like previous blackberry models, it's even more important you're getting the real thing. Other sure fire tip to get real juice is to buy a 'Super Generic' battery like the Seidio's Innocells, that, in general terms, outperforms the BlackBerry OEMs (just check the prices and you'll know why they perform).. But by the moment I was searching for it, they don't have the JM-1 Compatible model; I hope they manage to pack a good Li-Po juice in such a small package of the JM-1, not an extendend version with battery door because the #1 reason many users switched to 9900/30 was for its thinness.

Can't tell the difference between this battery and the one that came with my phone. I get about 16 hours of heavy usage between charges.
